- What is a Team Room?
A Team Room is a platform for marketing team communication and collaboration. It includes chat, document storage, and select project management tools with more to come. In our current version the features are pretty basic. But we’re working on delivering you more features, such as audio and video recording tools and progress report trackers.
Companies invite their in-house colleagues and freelancers (that they can find on our website) to Team Rooms.
- How many Team Rooms can I create?
In our current version you can create as many Team Rooms as you would like to.
Team Room examples:
• Digital Marketing Team Room (for all your marketing needs);
• One-Time Project Team Room (like a seasonal Facebook campaign or a website development);
• [Your-Client-Name] Team Room (if you are an agency). - How can we communicate?
• Companies create a Team. They invite freelancers that they choose for their projects to a Team Room.
• There is a Team Chat in each Team Room. Our “beta” chat is pretty basic – but we’re working on developing it.
• All chats go to your personal Inbox. So, you can see all conversations/chats under your Inbox.
• If you upload anything in your Team Room – you can let your team members know about it in your Team Chat.
• You can also discuss a project one-on-one when you send an offer/proposal or in your Inbox.
- Why should I create my Company profile?
Creating a Company profile allows other companies to find you and to collaborate on joint-marketing projects.
But if you don't need it, you can make your profile Invisible.
- Can you help us to build a team?

- Why would we need to hire a marketing team instead of hiring just one marketer?
Very often companies hire one or two marketers thinking that they can do it all, inevitably spreading a marketer’s attention too thin. Instead, companies can build a marketing team where each freelancer takes on a specialized role: Social Media Marketing, Google Ads, Copywriting, Design, etc.

- What if we don’t have time to manage a freelance marketing team?
That's why you need Marteamo!
Instead of managing your freelancers in different places – you can hire a Marketing Project Manager or a Team Coordinator/Assistant and they will manage your virtual marketing team for you.

- Can I rate a whole team?
Yes! You can leave a review for a freelancer or for a team. So, you will help other companies to choose the best team for their projects.
- What features can I look forward to on the main platform?
We are working hard to make Marteamo a hub for all your marketing needs. Upcoming features include: chat tags; customizable channels; live and collaborative editing features on documents (like Google Docs); project tracking tools to stay up-to-date with what your freelancers are working on and when it needs to be done; social features, such as meetups, awards, and remote team-building activities; audio and video recording tools for meetings and showcases.

- How to become a team member?
You will receive an invitation from a company. After you confirm it, you will get access to a Team Room.
- Can I be a team member in different companies?
Absolutely! Just make sure you have time to work on all your projects.
- Why is it better to be a part of a team instead of working as an independent freelancer?
You are still an independent freelancer, but you are not an isolated freelancer anymore.
You can collaborate with other freelancers, and you can learn from your team members.
- May I apply as an intern?
Yes! We encourage you to do it to learn the industry from the top marketers! Just choose "Intern" in the Account Settings when you set up your profile.
- I'm not a marketer, but I worked as a designer with marketing teams. Can I apply?
Yes! Marketers, designers, salespeople can work better together. It’s important to have the same message and, of course, the same goals. So, we accept profiles from marketers and freelancers who can be of asset to any marketing team.

- How to increase my chances to be approved on Marteamo platform?
That's true: not all applications are approved. So please make sure to fill out your profile accurately and be as specific as possible: add your portfolio, data that would show your success, recommendations and reviews.
If you have an experience working in a specific industry (e-commerce or technology) – let us know! If you prefer to work as a copywriter or if you like numbers more – tell us about it!
Add all information that you think will help us and companies to know your work better. If you are a good marketer – you should know how to promote yourself.

Hire one Copywriter and one Google Ads Manager, sit with them in your Team Room and discuss how you’re going to promote your product. Your brand will have the same tone and voice because you discuss your campaigns together. Let your team members focus on their strengths and you will get a better-quality job.
